In Steam Sorter, you control a small robot in a steampunk-themed industrial setting where your task is to sort various blocks of garbage. The goal is to match three identical blocks in a row or form a straight line of any blocks to clear them. You can play with a second player using WASD for movement, while the first player uses the arrow keys. On mobile, a joystick controls movement and a button allows jumping. Power-ups appear randomly, giving temporary boosts like faster movement or block clearing.
