In Kitten Never Dies, players guide a lost kitten through a series of interconnected dimensions, each presenting unique puzzles and environmental challenges. The adventure unfolds across multiple themed worlds, where the kitten must navigate obstacles, activate switches, and solve logic-based puzzles to progress. The game supports both single-player and cooperative play, allowing two players to control the kitten simultaneously using different input methods—keys, mouse clicks, touchscreen taps, or gamepad buttons.
